» What service does a CaddyTech require?
Your CaddyTech electric golf trolley requires no maintenance. Simply plug the battery into the charger after your game to recharge and that is it. You may wish to clean the frame with a damp cloth; the wheels easily remove for rinsing off after a wet or muddy day. We recommend spraying along the main spindle and the front wheel kit every 6 months to lubricate moving parts.

» What warranty does CaddyTech offer?
All parts on the trolley and the battery are covered by our comprehensive repair or replace 12 month warranty for total peace of mind.

» How long will a charged battery last?
A fully charged battery will easily last 18 holes, even on courses with the most extreme of gradients. The battery is not designed to last 27 or 36 holes. If playing such distances we advise the use of two batteries.

» How long does the battery take to recharge?
Approximately 8 to 10 hours. We recommend you leave the battery connected to the activated charger any time it is not in use. Although the charger is fitted with an automatic safety cut off we would not recommend leaving it on charge for more than 24hrs.

» Is the battery safe?
Yes, the battery terminals are securely insulated, making short-circuiting just about impossible. The sealed dry cell construction removes all chances of battery leakage.

» Should I get a second battery?
We recommend a second battery if you want to play 27 or 36 holes in a day, or are lucky enough to be able to play golf more than three times a week. A second charger is not necessary.

» What if there is a problem with my CaddyTech electric golf trolley?
(i) If under warranty, contact us immediately. Depending on the fault we will send a spare part or inspect the trolley then repair it or send a replacement as appropriate. You'll be back on the fairways in no time at all. (ii) If outside of warranty, phone or e mail customercare@caddytech.co.uk We can either send you a spare part, complete with fitting instructions (nothing complicated!) or we'll collect the trolley for repair and charge only a minimal cost. We would advise you of the cost prior to carrying out any repairs outside of the warranty period.

» How soon after I have played golf should I recharge the battery?
As soon as possible. After a short time the plates inside the battery will begin to sulphate. Plate sulphation (a hardening process similar to scale build up in a kettle in hard water areas) inhibits the way a battery accepts a charge and dramatically shortens the battery's life.

» If I only play 9 holes, do I still have to recharge the battery before the next game?
Yes. Regardless of the number of holes played the battery must be fully charged (8-10hrs) after every use.

» I've been told I should sometimes fully discharge my CaddyTech Battery. Is this true?
No. CaddyTech batteries must never be completely discharged. Other battery types, for example nickel-cadmium as used in mobile phones or video cameras are not harmed by this treatment. However, it may severely damage a CaddyTech battery.
